Shavuot/Pentecost Picnic

Sunday was Shavuot or what we as Christians refer to as Pentecost. This is celebrated as the day the Torah was given on mount Sinai as well as the second first fruits of the harvest. This is also the day we as believers celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the new covenant’s promise of the Torah written on our hearts. The events in the book of Acts were the first fruits of the spiritual harvest. With all of these connections and more, the Messianic community in Israel LOVES gathering to celebrate this holy day. On Sunday there was a picnic and festival gathering in a Messianic moshav between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Here is some video showing the event:
